Key Qualifications:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathology license for practice in California
- Recent school-based SLP experience, especially with preschool-aged children
- Comprehensive understanding of assessment, intervention, and documentation for educational settings
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Please note: This role is not open to Clinical Fellows (CFs) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs)
What You'll Do:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool students in group and individual formats
- Conduct screenings and evaluations, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Develop, track, and revise Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Partner with classroom teachers and special education staff to maximize student progress
- Offer consultation and resources to families and caregivers
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with district and state guidelines
