Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure in California as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational skills and adaptability in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students with diverse backgrounds and needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student success
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in meetings to review student performance
- Provide recommendations and resources to educators and families to foster communication growth in multiple environments
- Stay current with professional best practices and contribute to a positive, student-centered team culture
