Soliant is working with a school district in the area of Santa Ana, CA, and is seeking a full-time or part-time contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for the 26-27 school year.
Requirements:
- ASHA Ceritificate of Clinical Competence
- Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Speech-Language Pathology credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- 2+ years of schools experience
Pay and Benefits:
- Hourly W2 pay of $55 to $80/hr, dependent on experience
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked
- Employer-matched 401(k)
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in an education setting, clinicians will:
- Conduct informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
- Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
- Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
- Recommend services appropriate to student and school settings in IEP meetings
- Update progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
- Complete medical billing paperwork as needed
