School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Corona, California

Qualifications/Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP (California state license, or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience working with elementary school-age children, preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills in speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities for engaging with students, staff, and parents
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to elementary students with a range of communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress in compliance with school and district policies
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual and group formats, integrating evidence-based practices
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development activities
