What You'll Bring:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) required
- Experience in school settings working with pediatric populations (elementary, middle, or high school)
- Strong ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and their therapy approaches
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Conducting screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments for students
- Developing appropriate goals and measurable objectives aligned with IEPs
- Delivering direct and consultative speech-language therapy
- Documenting progress, preparing reports, and participating in IEP meetings
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational needs
- Providing input for program development and best practices in speech-language services
- Staying current with state guidelines and industry trends in school-based speech pathology
