Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is mandatory
- California licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational settings preferred
- School-based SLP experience is a plus
- Commitment to supporting diverse student populations, including those with unique communication challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to IEPs and individual needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and families, to facilitate student success
- Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and maintain clear, compliant documentation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, goals, and interventions
- Provide support and guidance to students across varied age groups and cultural backgrounds
- Consult with school staff and participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and recommendations
