Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based therapy strongly preferred
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms is a plus, with comfort delivering remote services if needed
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct assessments and create personalized therapy plans for students with speech, language, or swallowing disorders
- Provide direct and indirect therapy sessions, both onsite and via teletherapy as required
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress and update goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for each student’s learning environment
- Stay abreast of best practices and current research in speech-language pathology, especially as it applies to pediatric and school settings
