About the Opportunity
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school team in the Pawtucket, Rhode Island area. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with elementary students and collaborating with educators and families to support student success.
This position is full-time; part-time candidates will not be considered.
Position Highlights
- Provide speech and language services to an elementary school caseload.
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy and support students in achieving their communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related-service professionals.
- Participate in IEP meetings, goal development, progress monitoring, and documentation.
- Potentially provide services at an additional community center within the district as needed.
- Work as part of a collaborative educational team focused on student success.
- Position runs through June 11, 2027.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Active Rhode Island SLP license required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Must be enrolled in the Rhode Island Medicare program.
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Passion for helping elementary students develop functional communication skills and succeed in the classroom.
