Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Providence, RI

You’ll manage an elementary caseload and may occasionally travel to a nearby community center within the district, allowing you to gain diverse experience and make a difference in multiple settings. Collaboration with teachers, families, and other support staff is central to delivering comprehensive services and ensuring student growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Enrollment in Rhode Island Medicare program (requirement for this role)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work full time for the entire contract period
- Willingness to travel between sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and document services in compliance with school and district standards
- Provide support and resources to school staff and families regarding strategies and progress
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary teams
