Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Valid Rhode Island SLP license, in good standing.
- Must be enrolled in the Rhode Island Medicare program.
- Experience in school settings, especially with elementary caseloads.
- Solid skills in assessing, developing, and implementing IEPs.
- Ability to travel between school locations and community centers within the district.
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students aligned with IEP goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking.
- Manage a full-time caseload; part-time availability is not offered for this assignment.
- Support outreach and services at another community center within the district as needed.
