Qualifications:
- Must hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous pediatric experience strongly preferred (schools or healthcare)
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- California SLP license (or eligibility)
- Understanding of IEPs and experience participating in special education teams is advantageous
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct speech and language therapy to students
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborate with educators and families, and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and compliant records for all services delivered
- Serve as a resource to classroom teachers and staff regarding speech and language development
- Adapt interventions to address a diverse range of communication disorders in a culturally responsive manner
