Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - San Mateo, California

Your primary focus will be evaluating, assessing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication needs. You’ll collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary school teams, offering documentation and consultation services that directly support each child's educational growth. Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid CA SLPA License required
- Experience with school-aged (especially preschool) populations
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication evaluation and treatment methods
- Strong teamwork and communication skills for working with families and school staff
- Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are a plus, supporting our diverse student community
- Familiarity with documentation standards in school settings
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and provide direct therapy for students
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Consult and collaborate with educators and related service providers
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student goals and progress
- Participate in team meetings to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
