The caseload is centered at a single school, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships and delivering targeted interventions for a preschool-age group.
Desired Background and Skills:
- Valid California SLPA License required
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and tools a plus
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience welcomed
- Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly valued and preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and deliver effective treatment plans
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary school teams to support student development
- Offer consultation to educators, staff, and parents to facilitate students’ educational progress
- Stay updated on best practices in speech-language pathology for school-based services
