Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or eligibility to obtain if in CFY
- Prior experience in pediatric or school-based speech therapy preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong collaboration skills and an empathetic approach toward children, families, and education professionals
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organization abilities
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication assessments for school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address a range of speech and language disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to foster student success
- Maintain thorough progress records and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions within the school setting
- Remain up-to-date with the latest practices in educational speech therapy
