Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist one day per week. This vital role centers on working directly with students in a specialized Behavioral Program, providing services onsite in Yamhill County. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision available
- Previous experience delivering school-based speech therapy services preferred
- Strong skills in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic disorders
- Comfortable working with students with a variety of behavioral, emotional, and academic needs
- Effective collaborator, with experience contributing to IEP development and interdisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-languge therapy sessions for K-12 students, one day per week
- Assess and document student needs, progress, and goal attainment in accordance with IEPs
- Develop individualized treatment plans that support student communication and behavioral goals
- Consult and partner with teachers, behavior specialists, and paraprofessionals to maximize student success
- Communicate regularly with families and team members to ensure holistic student support
- Maintain thorough, timely case notes and progress reports
