Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience or strong interest in early intervention and early childhood caseloads.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable in an itinerant role, serving children across various locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children within the EI program.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students.
  • Collaborate closely with families, educators, and the EI team to support each child’s development.
  • Conduct ongoing evaluations and maintain detailed progress records.
  • Travel as needed to serve children in multiple settings as part of the itinerant team.
  • Stay current on best practices in early intervention and school-based SLP services.
