Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience or strong interest in early intervention and early childhood caseloads.
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Comfortable in an itinerant role, serving children across various locations.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for children within the EI program.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to early childhood students.
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, and the EI team to support each child’s development.
- Conduct ongoing evaluations and maintain detailed progress records.
- Travel as needed to serve children in multiple settings as part of the itinerant team.
- Stay current on best practices in early intervention and school-based SLP services.
