This full-time, 40-hour-per-week position centers around providing assessment and intervention for preschool-aged children in diverse school-based settings. As part of a multi-disciplinary evaluation team, your expertise will help guide families and educators, ensuring every child receives the individualized support they need to thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) in speech-language pathology
- Experience or interest in Early Intervention and early childhood caseloads
- Confidence conducting assessments and creating individualized education plans
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule across multiple school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to children ages birth to five with a variety of communication needs
- Participate as a valued member of the EI evaluation team, working closely with colleagues and families
- Travel between assigned schools and community sites as an itinerant SLP
- Maintain thorough documentation and ongoing communication with the EI Team
- Provide education and consultation to caregivers and teachers
