This full-time, on-site assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through June 6, 2027, providing invaluable professional growth as you collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and serve diverse caseloads. Working in multiple educational environments, you'll have the opportunity to learn new strategies, discover innovative leadership styles, and build your resume with fresh perspectives—all while making a positive difference in students' lives.
Qualifications:
- Current, active CA SLP certification/license required
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
- Previous experience in school settings (preferred, not required)
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students in Special Day Classes (Intensive, Mild/Moderate across age groups: PreK–Post-Secondary)
- Serve one or two school sites as assigned, based on caseload needs and program structure
- Conduct evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate closely with staff and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to a positive, inclusive academic environment
