Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active California SLP license or certification required
- Open to both SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus, but not mandatory
- Solid understanding of IEP development and evaluation processes
- Effective communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to a diverse school caseload; assignments may vary based on student needs and service requirements
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques that promote student academic and social success
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with regulatory guidelines
- Consult and collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student potential
- Adjust service delivery based on ongoing assessments and district priorities
