- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid California state licensure or eligibility
- Previous experience providing SLP services in a school-based setting
- Strong knowledge of IEP process and documentation requirements
- Ability to adapt communication style to diverse student populations
- Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students ranging in age and ability
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and required documentation
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
- Foster student confidence and communication skills using evidence-based practices
