Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Active licensure to practice as an SLP in California
- Prior experience providing speech and language services in a school-based setting is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized plans for diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with IEP teams
- Deliver direct therapy services both individually and in group settings
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and evaluation reports in accordance with state and district requirements
- Work alongside teachers, support staff, and families to ensure integrated, holistic support for students
- Educate and provide resources to parents and teachers regarding speech and language development
