Qualifications:
- Holds a current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license
- Eligible for or holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), or is pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Comfortable addressing speech, language, and communication needs for children in educational settings
- Pediatric experience is a plus but not mandatory—mentorship and support are available for clinicians building expertise
- Availability for a full-time schedule throughout the contract
- Experience or interest in teletherapy and working in school-based teams is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for a diverse caseload of students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, school staff, and parents
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to student progress reporting
- Engage in consultation and provide training for teachers and support personnel to foster communicative success in the school environment
- Utilize technology effectively to support remote service delivery as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaborations
