Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly desired
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with IEP process and documentation requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments for students, identifying specific needs and abilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students with a wide variety of communication disorders
- Monitor student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert recommendations
