Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology in Missouri
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY welcome
- Previous experience working in a school setting highly valued
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to develop and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and diagnostics for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, tracking student progress and adjusting approaches as needed
- Engage parents and caregivers in supporting students’ growth, providing resources and regular updates
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and compliance with all state and federal guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to broader school teams
