School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Neosho, Missouri

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Prior experience working in a school environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
- Capacity to manage a diverse caseload and effectively adapt strategies for students with different backgrounds and abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ communication needs
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy, individually or in group settings
- Document therapy sessions, progress, and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
- Educate and consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and staff training as appropriate
