School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Riverside, California
An exciting contract opportunity is available for three Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC) to fill upcoming maternity leave positions for the December through May period. This role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week and will focus on supporting a caseload of approximately 55 students. Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Experience providing speech-language therapy services within school settings preferred
- Knowledgeable in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with varied communication needs
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals
- Ability to organize and maintain records/documentation with attention to detail
- Commitment to supporting students’ individual education plans and goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services and consultative support to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Work closely with school teams and families to monitor progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to evaluations and reviews
- Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting
- Adjust interventions as necessary to help each student achieve progress
