School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Bernardino, California
Support K-12 students’ growth and communication journeys by stepping into a crucial school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC) role near San Bernardino. This is a contract position covering maternity leave, running from December through May, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week and a manageable caseload of 55 students. Qualifications and Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- California state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
- Positive, flexible attitude and commitment to supporting student success
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate students for speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative services per IEPs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain thorough, accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Empower students to achieve meaningful progress in communication skills
