Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Valid California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Recent experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, collaborative, and time-management skills
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse communication needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language interventions to a caseload of 55 students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and document progress
- Collaborate closely with educators, special education staff, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team activities
- Provide consultative services and resources to teachers and parents
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with district and legal requirements
