Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for Missouri SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children or within an educational setting is highly valued
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and adapt to changing needs throughout the school year
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication disorders
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in both group and one-on-one settings
- Document progress, update goals, and maintain detailed student records in compliance with district and state regulations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other service providers to maximize student success and ensure a team-based approach
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expertise and recommendations
- Contribute to the development of classroom strategies that promote language growth and inclusive learning
