Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current state licensure or eligibility as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong skills in assessment, individualized education plan (IEP) development, and progress monitoring
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy services
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, families, and other school professionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing updates on student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to compliance standards
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering strategies for communication enhancement in the classroom and at home
