Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience in K-12 educational settings highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment data and student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student outcomes
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and required reports
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and provide expertise in speech and language development
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and licensure requirements
