Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain before starting
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to tailor interventions for both group and individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and ongoing needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
