Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state SLP license or eligibility to obtain before starting
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFs considered
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor interventions for both group and individual student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
- Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and ongoing needs
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
