You'll be working in the Transitional Education Service Alternative (TESA) program, serving individuals ages 18 to 21+ who are preparing for adult life. The role involves covering a maternity leave from November 9th through March 1st, with a .8 FTE work schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP-CCC credential
- State licensure required
- Recent experience working in educational settings, preferably with young adults or transition programs
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Virtual SLP and SLPA candidates are not being considered for this in-person role
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized treatment plans targeting communication, language, and social skills development
- Provide therapy sessions and support for students’ goals related to academic, vocational, and independent living success
- Collaborate closely with teachers and TESA staff to integrate speech-language objectives into daily routines
- Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Support students in achieving successful transitions to post-secondary or community environments
