School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Minneapolis, Minnesota

This contract position offers the opportunity to provide Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services in a specialized program serving students aged 18 to 21. You'll be covering a maternity leave from November 9th through March 1st, working within a collaborative, student-focused team.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for Minnesota
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Experience providing SLP services in an educational setting is highly valued
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adept at working with diverse young adult populations
- Passion for supporting students’ transition goals and promoting independence
- Must be willing to work onsite; virtual or SLPA candidates will not be considered
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech and language therapy services to students within the TESA program
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals related to communication and functional skills
- Collaborate closely with transition specialists, families, and school personnel
- Conduct assessments and document progress in accordance with state and program guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to transition planning
- Engage in program activities, ensuring inclusive, supportive communication environments for students
