What You’ll Bring:
- Active Illinois state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- PEL (Professional Educator License) certification, or eligibility to obtain
- Experience or strong interest in school-based services
- Familiarity with working in elementary and early childhood learning environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering student progress and supporting diverse learning needs
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing speech and language therapy to students within an elementary or early childhood caseload
- Conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Documenting progress and adapting interventions for optimal results
- Participating in orientation starting August 3rd and supporting students as they return on August 11th
- Continuing service through the academic year, ending May 28th, 2027
