Your year will begin with orientation starting August 3rd, followed by the return of students on August 11th, and will continue through the academic year until May 28th. This is an ideal setting for both experienced SLPs and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year, offering growth, mentorship, and daily opportunities to positively impact children’s lives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- State of Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license (active)
- Professional Educator License (PEL), active or eligibility to obtain
- SLP-CCC or CFY candidates welcome
- Experience with school-aged children or strong interest in educational settings
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to students in elementary or early childhood programs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support students’ progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing team communication
- Monitor and report on student progress throughout the school year
