You’ll work 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities to serve elementary or early childhood caseloads based on your expertise and interests. The position begins with orientation on August 3rd, and you’ll support students throughout the full school year, from their return on August 11th until May 28th.

Ideal candidates will present:

  • An active State of Illinois license as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Current PEL certification, or eligibility to secure this credential prior to start
  • Credentials aligned with the CCC or in the CFY phase
  • Experience or strong interest in educational, pediatric, or school-based speech-language pathology
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills to engage students, families, and colleagues

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students
  • Evaluating, diagnosing, and developing IEPs for students with speech and communication needs
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation per school guidelines
  • Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and parents to promote student success
  • Participating in meetings, team planning, and ongoing professional development
