This full-time, onsite opportunity allows you to focus your expertise within a single school site, serving a diverse group of pre-kindergarten through 6th grade students. You’ll collaborate with a committed team of educators and put your Speech-Language Pathology knowledge to work in a role that offers both consistency and meaningful connection.
Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP License (or eligibility)
- Current PPS Credential required
- Open to Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with CCC
- Prior school-based experience or enthusiasm to grow in this setting
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Passion for working with children ages 3–12
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and intervention services to a caseload of up to 50 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and families to support student growth
- Monitor and document progress; participate in IEP meetings
- Address both receptive and expressive language skills, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with district and state policies
