Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Familiarity with the unique needs of elementary-age students
- Ability to adapt clinical strategies for both individual and group service models
- Skilled in assessment, development, and implementation of IEPs
- Effective communicator with children, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to elementary-age students, both individually and in small groups
- Conduct evaluations, write comprehensive reports, and participate in the IEP process
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in coordination with teachers and specialists
- Maintain accurate case notes, session logs, and progress updates
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy that incorporates evidence-based practices for school-based intervention
- Collaborate actively with educational teams and participate in staff meetings to support student success
