Make an impact supporting young learners as an in-person Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. Work full-time, guiding elementary-aged students to greater communication skills and confidence in a nurturing academic environment. This contract role offers 37.5 hours per week, providing the opportunity to take ownership of your caseload and collaborate with a dedicated school community.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid California SLP license (CFY and CCC candidates both considered)
- Ability to deliver therapy to elementary-age students in a school setting
- Previous school-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
- Strong organizational, collaboration, and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting diverse student needs and fostering growth
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy to students, adapting approaches to suit learners’ unique needs
- Collaborating closely with teachers, families, and other therapists
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to multidisciplinary support teams
- Maintaining accurate records and tracking student progress
