This full-time, contract role focuses on providing speech services to elementary students, with a caseload of no more than 35-40 students. Both experienced SLP-CCCs and new graduates (CFs) are welcome, with supervision provided for CFYs. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Illinois SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Comfortable supporting general education and special education classrooms, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language interventions to elementary students at your designated home-base school
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and track student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to foster student growth
- Provide therapy in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in required meetings
- Engage in an orientation before starting and receive ongoing onsite support
