Step into an engaging, school-based setting as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students ranging from preschoolers to young adults. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 19, 2026, to June 1, 2027, offering 35 hours per week with an in-person focus near Chicago, IL. Ideal candidates will have:
- A valid Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
- Experience or strong interest in working with students ages 3 to 21
- Commitment to in-person, full-time onsite work
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans
- Supporting students’ progress toward communication goals
- Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with multidisciplinary staff
- Consulting with teachers, families, and support staff to foster communication skills in classroom settings
- Maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school policies
- Providing services across various grade levels as assigned by school needs
