Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Licensed to practice as an SLP in California
- Proven experience conducting comprehensive speech/language assessments in school settings
- Bilingual proficiency with experience performing bilingual assessments
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and comfortable with an as-needed, on-call schedule
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete thorough bilingual speech/language assessments for up to 3 students before September 10
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student needs
- Prepare assessment reports and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Provide recommendations for strategies, supports, and follow-up services based on student needs
- Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines in all assessment practices
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
