Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred—or willingness to mentor a clinical fellow if you do not yet possess CCCs
- Successful experience working with school-aged children, particularly in K-8 settings
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to tailor support for diverse learners and communicate effectively with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy to K-8th grade students, individually and in groups
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
- Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development activities as required
- Serve as an onsite resource for speech-language strategies and interventions
