School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Running Springs, California

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
- Previous experience working with K-8th grade students in schools
- Knowledge of IEP processes and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic school environment
- Candidates without CCC may be considered if open to pursuing supervision
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-8 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Conduct screenings and provide intervention, both one-on-one and in small groups
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and work closely with teachers and families to support student goals
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress records in compliance with school district and legal requirements
- Collaborate effectively with support staff and administration to integrate speech services into the educational setting
