Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP licensure or eligibility
- CCC-SLP or candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
- Experience in a school-based SLP role preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload with flexibility and empathy
- Bilingual abilities are an asset, though not required
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in elementary students (K–5)
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Support students’ communication skills development to enhance classroom participation and academic progress
