Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active California SLP license
- Possession of Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is highly desirable; supervision options can be explored if you are completing your Clinical Fellowship Year
- Previous experience working with school-aged children, particularly K-8th grade, is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and delivering evidence-based therapy
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in a culturally sensitive manner
- Design and implement individualized therapy interventions for K-8 students
- Develop and manage IEPs, collaborating with teachers and special education staff
- Engage parents and caregivers in student progress and support
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
