Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current SLP licensure and certification required
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including pre-school, pre-K, and early childhood
- Proficient in serving students from Kindergarten through grade 12
- Knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans for diverse learners
- Comfortable collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
- Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers and other school staff to support student success
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Participate in parent meetings and team conferences as needed
- Offer guidance and training to educational staff regarding speech and language development
- Support generalization of communication skills in classroom and social settings
