Desired Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license and relevant certification
- Experience working in pediatric settings, ideally within schools
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs for students at multiple grade levels (Early Childhood, Elementary, Grades K–5, 6–8, 9–12, Pre-K, Kindergarten, High School, Pre-School)
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
- Passion for enhancing student engagement and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct intervention and therapy sessions, both one-on-one and in groups
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and family members to ensure continuity of care
- Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in IEP meetings and help guide educational teams in implementing effective strategies
- Offer resources and workshops for staff and parents when appropriate
