Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – High School/Post-Secondary
Redwood City, California | 35 Hours per Week | 2026/2027 School Year
Join a collaborative and supportive special education team serving high school and post-secondary students in the Redwood City area. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with older students preparing for transition, vocational goals, independent living, and functional communication success.
You’ll work alongside a team of 7 other SLPs in a shared caseload model that promotes collaboration, mentorship, and balanced workload support.
Position Details
Location: Redwood City, CA
Schedule: 35 hours/week
Caseload: High School & Post-Secondary students
Team Environment: Shared caseload with 7 SLPs
Pay Rate: $55–65/hour based on experience
School Year Contract

Responsibilities
Provide speech-language therapy services to high school and transition-age students
Conduct assessments and write evaluation reports
Develop and implement IEP goals
Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, families, and related service providers
Support students with functional communication, social communication, transition readiness, and vocational communication skills
Maintain documentation and compliance according to district and state guidelines
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Active California SLP License
ASHA CCCs
School-based experience preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
