School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Mateo, California

What you’ll bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Previous experience supporting students in a secondary or post-secondary school environment preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered practices
Your role will include:
- Delivering assessments, direct therapy, and consultation services for high school and post-secondary students
- Collaborating with fellow SLPs, educators, and support staff to design effective, evidence-based interventions
- Participating in IEP/504 meetings and documenting progress in accordance with state and district requirements
- Supporting transition planning for post-secondary success and independence
- Sharing knowledge and resources with colleagues to enhance outcomes for all students
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines pertaining to school-based SLP services
