School Speech and Language Pathologist | San Mateo, California

This contract position offers a consistent 35-hour workweek and the opportunity to collaborate with an experienced team of seven fellow SLPs. Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or eligible California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in school settings, especially at the high school or post-secondary level, is strongly preferred
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for team-based caseload management
- Ability to design and implement IEP-driven therapy plans that support student achievement
- Strong organizational skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, diverse environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative SLP services to a diverse caseload of students alongside a team of seven SLPs
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in high school and post-secondary students
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and provide progress reports to families and educators
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to support holistic student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all federal and state guidelines
