Elementary Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Reading, PA

As a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and school-based care, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on developing communication skills across a diverse caseload. Caseload assignments are tailored to your expertise and preferences, spanning moderate to profound needs. Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state license or eligibility for SLP licensure
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are also considered
- Previous experience in pediatric or school-based environments, serving early childhood and elementary-aged students
- Familiarity with a variety of communication disorders, including speech, language, and pragmatic needs
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to K–12 students, both individually and in groups
- Develop, implement, and track progress on IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Assess, diagnose, and document speech and language disorders
- Communicate effectively with families, educators, and administrators to support students’ academic and social success
- Adapt therapy strategies based on individual needs and evidence-based practices
