Candidates should bring the following qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license for Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in pediatric, early childhood, or elementary school settings preferred
- Strong clinical skills, including the ability to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for varying disabilities and needs
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities with students, parents, and school staff
- Adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic school environment
In this role, you will:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop intervention plans for students with speech and language disorders
- Deliver therapy sessions individually and in groups, supporting both mild and significant communication challenges
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Maintain accurate records, participate in IEP meetings, and monitor student progress
- Tailor services and schedules to best meet each student's unique needs
