Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational environments
- Previous work with school-aged populations, especially elementary grades, preferred
- Expertise in serving students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- A solution-focused mindset and adaptable approach to various student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary students onsite
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct and consultative interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Monitor, track, and document student goals and outcomes
- Adapt therapy techniques and activities to suit individual student learning styles
- Contribute to a positive, supportive school environment
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with school partners
