Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed
  • Experience in pediatric, healthcare, or educational environments
  • Previous work with school-aged populations, especially elementary grades, preferred
  • Expertise in serving students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • A solution-focused mindset and adaptable approach to various student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy services to elementary students onsite
  • Perform evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and provide direct and consultative interventions
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Monitor, track, and document student goals and outcomes
  • Adapt therapy techniques and activities to suit individual student learning styles
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive school environment
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and ongoing communication with school partners
