Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active California SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or coursework in school-based and pediatric settings
- Commitment to serving elementary-aged students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Proficient in collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to individual needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers and special education staff to support student IEP goals
- Provide both direct and indirect services based on student IEP requirements
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for service delivery and progress
- Offer guidance and support in classroom settings to reinforce effective communication strategies
- Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and strategies for home practice
